Third and fourth week - brainstorm

During this two weeks, we mainly did a lot of research, read a lot scientific papers, articles and gathered information and discussed the findings during these meetings, we also started to build up a plan with all of our conclusions from our bainstorm meetings and that we would further on design, it also started to come up with the first drafts from ideias that came up during the meetings.

In the third week we just gathered information, read a lot of interested articles we got really deep into the needs of the market. We started here to have some ideas of what was needed furthermore on the process we design this particular system of control and measurements, because we realised that by using different bio waste the microalgae growth is unpredictable and to continue we had to have a lot of trials before using it but for that we needed a simple control method to measure the microalgae growth and potential contaminations.

And the method use is expensive because it's needed expensive equipment to do such measurements and it's not very automatic since production like this need to be secure for 24/7 until the microalgae production is fully done.

So we come up with different ideas and this the final draft that we came up with.

This was our first idea from the third week, later on we would perfected and get into more ideas and develop our own prototype.

In the fourth week i would say that the highlight was when we started to do our first drafts, and put into practice our design, see if would work and if we needed to adjust the drafts.

And then we started our trials and see our problems in real life and bringing some solution to it, was incredible to work with such diligent people, our EE's were amazing!!!

And then we started to improve our drafts and make them more complete, here are some exemples of our next versions...

The drafts were very simple, but had all the basis needed for the final prototype. These weeks were very productive, we develop a lot of our design thinking, one of the future skills that i intended to improve and that's why i tried my best to be active during this week, also it was a critical week because we constantly had to give our feedback, improve the draft and do countless trials to improve it, but it was so worth it!

It is very nice to be able to work with such diligent, proactive group of people, we can share our ideas very easily and we always come up with great ideias, i am very thankful.
