Second week of the second edition of the ILL

On this week we got deeper on the main topic, specifically in Microalgae production and what to expect of the production with bio waste as a nutricional source for the microalgae.
We researched about agriculture production in our local/regional to understand what kind of foods are more produced and bepotencial bio waste that can serve as biomass source to built up the nutritional liquid that feeds the microalgae.
My presentation was about Portugal, but but my colleagues introduced theirs (Romania, Belgium, Austria and Hungary), was very interesting when we discussed our findings, and to see how different food productions are on other countries and why (reasons such as climate, culture...)

This meeting was important because, we not only learned about potencial bio waste to produce the nutricional liquid to feed the microalgae per country, but also, learned a lot about the process of microalgae production itself, we saw in details the different processes, and how it's been producing in the lab as well, we talked about the struggles and needs on the overall process.
